In her previous role as Senior Manager of Data and IT Operations at Canadian Women & Sport, Baijul spearheaded pivotal initiatives in change management, resource planning, process optimization, and data-driven decision-making.
Prior to this, Baijul excelled in business development, stakeholder management, fundraising, and leveraging technology for educational transformation at Educational Initiatives (EI), a leading EdTech pioneer in Southeast Asia. She also played a vital role in business development in India and Southeast Asia for Dobility, an international social enterprise renowned for its human-usable technology, SurveyCTO.
Notably, Baijul was instrumental in launching the SMILE (Student Mediated Initiative for Learning to Excel) Center at the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad, providing remedial education to underprivileged children from urban slums near the IIMA campus.
As an academic researcher, Baijul has contributed to various management information system (MIS) projects at IIMA, authoring and co-authoring research papers and case studies on MIS. With a background in engineering, she is deeply passionate about digital inclusion and ICT for development to uplift marginalized communities and drive positive change.
