Rudayna has ten years of experience in nonprofits, foundations, and government with a focus on advancing equity. She has a Masters of Public Policy, where her research focused on policy solutions to address housing discrimination, and particularly anti-Black racism, in Canada’s rental market. She has been published in places including the CBC, TVO, Policy Magazine, and more. She was previously named a Top 30 Under 30 Leader in Canada, was a CivicAction DiverseCity Fellow and TMU Leadership Lab Fellow. She is a board member at Black Artists’ Network in Dialogue (BAND) and volunteers as an advisor to multiple other nonprofits. She leads a team as a Manager at Ontario Health’s Provincial Equity Office, where her portfolio of work includes supporting the provincial Black Health Plan.
