Over the last 15 years, Wanda has become a visionary, leading transformational efforts and reshaping partnerships with actionable strategies. Her notable achievements include co-authoring 'Canadian Giving to Indigenous-led Charities' and playing a crucial role in the development of the 'Declaration of Action,' redefining philanthropy’s commitment to the Truth and Reconciliation Commission.
During the global pandemic, Wanda co-founded the Indigenous Peoples Resilience Fund (IPRF), blending Indigenous knowledge with Western philanthropy. The initiative incorporates Indigenous ways of relating, and was positively received by over 1200 Indigenous-led charities and nonprofits. As co-leads, they stewarded and managed over $40 million in unrestricted funds from private and public foundations, corporations, and individuals, driving significant impact.
A proud member of the Bear Clan, Skarù rę', Kanien’kehà:ka, and Kitigan Zibi Anishinabeg, Wanda integrates Haudenosaunee laws with knowledge from Harvard Business School and her ongoing Masters at Carleton University.
