Eric Wetlaufer is a highly experienced professional providing counsel as an investor, director, and advisor to a diverse range of companies, with a special focus on the technology and financial sectors. He is the Managing Partner of TwinRiver Capital, an impact investment firm that aims to generate positive environmental and societal impact globally while also delivering strong financial returns.

Currently, Wetlaufer serves on the Board of Directors for several organizations, including TMX Group, IMCO, Enterra Solutions, and Niyogin Fintech. He has also held significant past positions, such as being a director of the UN-supported Principles for Responsible Investment (PRI) and serving as the president of the CFA Society Boston.

With extensive experience as an institutional investor, Wetlaufer notably led the Public Market Investments department at the CPP Investment Board. In this role, he oversaw a multi-strategy platform comprising 220 portfolio managers, analysts, and traders, managing over C$180 billion in publicly traded assets and related derivatives on a global scale. Before his tenure at CPPIB, which began in 2011, he was the Group Chief Investment Officer, International at Fidelity Investments in Boston, Massachusetts.

Wetlaufer holds a Bachelor of Arts from Wesleyan University in Middletown, Connecticut. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst, has achieved the ESG Competent Boards Certificate, and is a certified member of the Canadian Institute of Corporate Directors.
