Diane Mak is Head of Impact Strategy at Allianz Global Investors. Previously, Diane was an Economist at the London School of Economics’ International Growth Centre. She also worked as a consultant to the Deputy Minister of Finance in Liberia and as Contributing Editor of Transparency International’s Global Corruption Report. Diane started her career in investment banking at Citigroup. She holds a master’s degree in Public Administration in International Development from Harvard Kennedy School and a bachelor’s degree in Economics from Cambridge University.

Diane’s research as an AsiaGlobal Fellow focused on the potential for implementing innovative financing approaches in Hong Kong and other Asian economies to deliver better social and development outcomes.
