Gabe Oatley is a reporter with Future of Good, where he covers philanthropy and the changing funding models of charities and non-profits. Gabe’s work has been published by the CBC’s the Fifth Estate, The National Observer and The Toronto Star. Gabe is a graduate of Toronto Metropolitan University’s Master of Journalism program, where he won the CBC Newsworld Award for broadcast excellence. Prior to journalism, Gabe worked in the charitable and social enterprise sectors for nearly a decade, holding roles with the United Way of Greater Toronto, the MaRS Discovery District, and with the Province of Ontario.
