Description
Entrepreneurship is a key element of socio-economic integration of youth from Black communities. RIDE aims to give youth the tools and the desire to become entrepreneurs. This program is being deployed in 30 sites through seven Quebec service centers through the collaboration of six nonprofit organizations. Afro Youth Summit is the focal point of RIDE.
Diane Bérard, social finance fellow with Future of Good, will be discussing with Henriette Kandula, a pioneer in Black entrepreneurship who sits on Afro Youth Summit board, and Rodrigue Mehou Hounsou, an expert of Black entrepreneurship challenges and RIDE program director. This panel will also present the testimony of a RIDE participant.
