Speaker Bio
Henriette Kandula is a native of the Democratic Republic of Congo who has lived in Quebec for over 20 years. She holds a bachelor's degree in sociology from Université Laval, and a master's degree in cooperative management and development from Université de Sherbrooke. A woman of action, Henriette Kandula has been involved in the community at various levels since 1993. She currently sits on the boards of several organizations: Afrique au Féminin, a center for immigrant women, where she is President; ACCÉSSS (Alliance des communautés culturelles pour l'égalité et l'accessibilité aux soins de santé et des services sociaux), which brings together over a hundred community organizations, where she is Vice-President, Afro Youth Summit; and Chantier d'Afrique du Canada (CHAFRIC), of which she is Executive Director.
