The core of social finance is a redistribution of power and wealth for and to underserved communities. In Canada, Indigenous communities have and continue to face unique disproportionate violence, underrepresentation in industry, and restricted access to capital. This workshop will explore how social finance has been and can continue to be a tool to shift power and reconcile relationships with Indigenous communities.
